Role Overview

We are seeking an Instructional Lead - Progressive Education to join our team. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing engaging interdisciplinary unit plans, lessons, and projects that promote critical thinking, creativity, and cross-disciplinary skills. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers to design curriculum aligned with Alberta outcomes, focusing on topics such as logic, hypothesizing, and predicting answers. They will also facilitate regular communication with families to involve them in their child's learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop unit plans that integrate multiple subjects and include inquiry-based learning experiences Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and develop innovative lesson plans Establish strong relationships with students, families, and the school community Facilitate workshops and training sessions to support teacher development

Requirements

A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate or equivalent Bachelor of Education Degree or recognized equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth

Salary Range
