We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Ballagan Construction & Framing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of our residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and layout building frames in accordance with building codes and specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create sturdy and durable structures.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the stability and integrity of our buildings.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the finishing touches on our projects.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate existing structures, including residences, wooden structures, and other establishments, to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- 3-5 years of experience in framing and carpentry, with a strong background in residential and commercial construction.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and handle heavy loads.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential, as well as a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
