Electronics Service Specialist

Brandt is currently seeking a highly skilled Electronics Service Specialist for our Surrey location. This position is responsible for performing installations, calibrations, commissioning, service, and repair of various machine control systems. These machine control systems consist of electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic components and are installed on most makes and models of heavy equipment including crawler dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers, paving systems, and more. These duties may be performed in the field or in a workshop environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performing inspections, testing, diagnostics, and repairs on electronic devices and components using various test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and collimation tools.
  • Opening, maintaining, and closing work orders.
  • Submission of technician reports and other relevant information based on the type of work completed.
  • Internal and external customer phone support.
  • Mentoring, training, and supervision of other members of the service team.
  • Travel will be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • A college, university, or technical trade program in electronics.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate with customers as required.
