About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at ARQUIN FAMILY RESTAURANT. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh produce and ingredients.
  • Packaging take-out food and portioning meals.
  • Preparing simple food items and heating them according to recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • The ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with manual and electrical appliances used in food preparation.
Physical Demands

This role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and performing repetitive tasks.
