Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our team at Rusty's at Blue. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the overall kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in line with our menu and recipes.
  • To maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen area.
  • To train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • To order and manage supplies and equipment, as well as maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • To develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.

Requirements:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • The capacity to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • A strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently.
