We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable individual to join our team as a Logging Operations Assistant at Bester Forest Products Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Sort, pile, and transport wood products in a safe and efficient manner.
- Clean and maintain machines and immediate work areas to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist other logging workers as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our logging operations.
Our logging operations take place in a variety of environments, including noisy, hot, and cold/refrigerated conditions. Staff accommodation is available on site.
Physical Demands- Repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads are a regular part of this role.
- Physically demanding work is required, including standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Initiative, efficient interpersonal skills, and a team player attitude are essential for success in this role.
- Accurate and organized, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Transportation provided by the employer.
- Permanent work term with 30-42 hours of work per week.
- Work language: English.
