We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Java Developer to join our team. As a Senior Backend Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems using Java 8+. You will work closely with our team to identify business needs and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing complex software systems using Java 8+
  • Working closely with our team to identify business needs and develop technical solutions
  • Maintaining and improving existing codebases
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small proof-of-concepts to large-scale enterprise applications. You will be working in a collaborative environment with a team of experienced developers, and you will have the opportunity to learn from them and share your knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in software design and development
  • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, Mesh App and Service Architecture
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Dynatrace, ELK stack)
  • Experience with Kubernetes (K8N) and OpenShift platforms
  • Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and static code/image analysis tools such as SonarQube and Veracode
