Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and ensuring Canadian and American tax compliance
  • Collaborating with Canadian tax returns and relevant information
  • Calculating installment payments and providing assistance in tax audits
  • Preparing US tax returns and collaborating with US divisions
  • Collaborating on tax provisions, including monthly, quarterly, and annual calculations of current and deferred taxes
  • Assisting with special projects, such as corporate reorganization and merger
  • Maintaining G/L tax accounts and performing monthly reconciliations
  • Assisting with transfer pricing, monitoring PBR, and collaborating with divisions on sales tax aspects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration with an accounting title
  • Graduate diploma in taxation or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in taxation, including tax accounting
  • Mastery of French and English, spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of common software and taxes
