About Us: Alternacare is a leading supplier of patient attendants to Montreal's teaching hospitals.

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and self-reliant Personal Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will provide patient care and support in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care and support in a hospital setting
  • Assist patients with daily living activities
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare staff
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff

Requirements:

  • DEP in personal assistance in health facilities (750 hours) or auxiliary health and social services (975 hours)
  • CPR and PDSB cards
  • Be patient, reliable, and self-reliant
