Automotive Parts Representative

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Representative. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in maintaining and increasing sales to our existing customers, while also identifying and soliciting new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and visit established customers to maintain and increase sales, based on an understanding of their business needs.
  • Take orders from customers to renew their inventory, add new items, and quote on new equipment when needed.
  • Manage customer returns when appropriate.
  • Expand the existing customer base by identifying and soliciting potential new customers.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with customers and ensure a positive relationship with store personnel.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner to enhance the corporate image of the company.
  • Utilize computer systems, the internet, and paper catalogs to identify the correct parts for customers' needs.
  • Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and warranty information to customers to present a value proposition.
  • Utilize sales processes to manage territory pipelines and opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure customers' parts orders are accurately filled and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Display a positive, helpful attitude and be known as a team player.

Requirements:

  • Automotive Refinishing and Automotive Parts experience.
  • Experience in sales.
  • Experience delivering a high level of customer service.
  • A proficient knowledge of automotive operating systems.
  • An appetite for continuous learning and knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
