About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MDI Manager to join our team at McCain Foods in Grand Falls, Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and sustainment of our McCain Driving Impact (MDI) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the rollout, execution, and sustainment of MDI-related activities, processes, and plans.
  • Engage stakeholders, including MDI system leads, area leads, and front-line employees, through coaching and positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Provide leadership and initiative to ensure the successful implementation and sustainment of MDI.
  • Proactively manage change to ensure continuous improvement success.
  • Develop and utilize tools to maximize the effectiveness of MDI and sustain them over time.
  • Track and report key milestones and metrics related to plant MDI goals.
  • Ensure processes and practices are in place to identify and share best practices with the plant and across the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or operations management, engineering, or related management experience of 3-5 years with an emphasis on operations and continuous improvement.
  • 3 years' experience with operations (manufacturing, procurement, warehousing, distribution, human resources, engineering, or quality control).
  • 2-3 years in a management/leadership role.
  • A proven track record on continuous improvement and results achieved through the development and growth of others.
  • Excellent thought leadership and ability to work with and influence others.
