We are seeking a skilled Hair Stylist to join our team at Srujana Beauty. As a hairstylist, you will be responsible for cutting and styling hair according to clients' instructions or preferences. Your duties will include shampooing, shaving, and trimming beards and mustaches, as well as providing hair treatments and scalp massages. You will also be responsible for applying bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair, as well as applying hair extensions. Additionally, you will be required to clean and style wigs and hair pieces, cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair, and suggest hairstyles compatible with clients' physical features and preferences. You will also perform receptionist duties and maintain and order supplies. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cutting and styling hair according to clients' instructions or preferences
  • Shampooing, shaving, and trimming beards and mustaches
  • Providing hair treatments and scalp massages
  • Applying bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair
  • Applying hair extensions
  • Cleaning and styling wigs and hair pieces
  • Cutting, trimming, tapering, curling, waving, perming, and styling hair
  • Suggesting hairstyles compatible with clients' physical features and preferences
  • Performing receptionist duties
  • Maintaining and ordering supplies

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year of experience in a hair salon or barbershop
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
