Job Description:Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency tree maintenance tasks, including pruning, trimming, and removal, to ensure the health and safety of trees and surrounding areas.
• Operate a variety of equipment, such as chainsaws, chippers, and trucks, to efficiently complete tasks.
• Work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve team goals and objectives.

Working Conditions:

As an Arboricultural Technician, you will work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heavy rain, extreme temperatures, and occasional exposure to allergens. You will be required to lift heavy equipment and materials, and may be exposed to hazards such as falling branches or tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in arboriculture, horticulture, or a related field an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in arboriculture or a related field, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work at heights, including climbing trees and using aerial lifts.
• Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
