Job Summary:

The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete surfaces. This includes filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement, operating power vibrators to compact concrete, and imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Team player
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Attention to detail
