At Peaceful Storm Inc., we are seeking a skilled renovation carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. Your expertise will be essential in fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, as well as maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings.

Work Setting

Our ideal candidate will have experience working in various locations, including renovation, commercial, industrial, and residential settings. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
