Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Bolton Auto Collision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Repairing and maintaining machine tools and parts
  • Setting up and adjusting production machinery and tools
  • Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. A strong understanding of mechanical systems and machining processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machining Operations:
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
    • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
  • Maintenance and Repair:
    • Repair machine tools and parts
    • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools

Work Environment:

  • Physical Demands:
    • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Working Conditions:
    • Repetitive tasks

Requirements:

  • Personal Protective Equipment:
    • Steel-toed safety boots required

Salary:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
