About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Childcare Attendant to join our team at the Kicking Horse Daycare. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our young guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care.
  • Provide stimulating activities and games that cater to children's age and abilities.
  • Help organize and prepare children for their ski lessons.
  • Implement positive corrective actions with children when required.
  • Communicate effectively with children and parents to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous professional experience in a childcare setting.
  • Current First Aid certification with Level C CPR.
  • 19 years of age or older.
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Early Childhood Education or related field (an asset).
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to provide a criminal record check.
  • Highly developed stress management and decision-making skills.
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
