Job Summary

The Senior Manager of Finance – FP&A will oversee financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role manages cash flow, forecasting, and supports the Director while leading the FP&A team to drive continuous improvement in financial operations and performance.

  • This position reports and is accountable to the Director of Finance or their designate.
  • The successful candidate will participate as a contributor to the Common Services and Program Teams.
  • Liaison with Connective staff and community partners will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Draft financial statements and reporting for internal review.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and summaries for internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Analyze financial performance and evaluate the company's financial health by identifying trends and providing insight to support decision-making.
  • Support year-end and interim audit procedures.
  • Assist in preparing funding applications.
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead the annual operating and capital budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial targets.
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity, monitoring daily cash position and implementing effective cash management strategies.
  • Fulfill responsibilities of the Director during their absence, when assigned.
  • Oversee the FP&A Team, leading and supervising team members to ensure efficient performance in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
