Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and minimizing waste.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Client Consultation: Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver exceptional service.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a Safe Food Handling certificate, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Work Environment: Work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate dependability, organization, reliability, and teamwork, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
