Mega Sushi is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Apprentice Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the high standards of Mega Sushi.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked and efficient kitchen.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
