Drive business growth and profitability as a Sales Representative with our agricultural team. As a key member of our sales force, you will work collaboratively to develop relationships with clients, identify new opportunities, and execute on marketing plans.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability in the agricultural market.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Maintain good relationships with key crop input suppliers and territory representatives
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities in the agricultural market
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, field meetings, farm calls, cooperative product trials, agronomy events, marketing support, and crop planning services
  • Work with clients to make sound crop production and risk management decisions, focusing on crop planning, seed selection, fertility, weed, disease, insect, and harvest management
  • Execute on marketing plans to meet or exceed established sales and margin targets
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the agricultural industry
  • Provide feedback on client needs and market trends
  • Provide exceptional service to our members and guests and live by our brand expectations through our 'You're at Home Here' motto
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent with a preference for post-secondary education (business diploma or degree)
  • A proven track record in sales with a passion for agriculture
  • A commitment to ongoing development in the industry and relevant designations/knowledge (agronomy, chemical, seed, crop production)
  • Candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively with all other Team Members, and possess a Class 5 Driver's License and pass a Criminal Record Check
Compensation

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and an employer-contributed pension plan.
