We are seeking a skilled CAD (Computer-Assisted Drafting) Technician to join our team at BFP Engineering Solutions Inc. The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background and a strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design software
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications to determine work requirements
  • Supervise and train other drafting personnel to ensure high-quality work
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and technical reports
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 hours per week
  • English as the working language
