Job Description:

We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Fan-Tastic Scholars East Inc. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced Early Childhood Educators to assist in the development and implementation of child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Early Childhood Educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a Child Care Centre with a team of experienced Early Childhood Educators and Assistants.
