Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Posi-Plus Technologies inc. This role involves purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services while ensuring efficient logistics operations.
Responsibilities- Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services to meet organizational needs
- Consult with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms
- Review quotations from various vendors and establish delivery schedules
- Monitor progress of delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise
- Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization, including internal audit
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Logistics, materials, and supply chain management experience, or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, with attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in an industrial setting
- Full-time position with a permanent contract
- 38.5 hours per week, with opportunity for overtime
- Public transportation available
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience.
