About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team at Excellent Siding & Soffits Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mixing and Spreading Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced crew members.
  • Assisting in Pipeline Construction: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction projects.
  • Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Framing and Building: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Demolition: Assist in demolishing buildings and structures.
  • Maintenance and Cleanup: Perform routine maintenance work and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Traffic Control: Direct traffic at or near construction sites as needed.
