About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Governance and Compliance Lead to join our Corporate Information Security group at Canadian Bank Note Company Limited.

Job Description

This senior-level position involves developing, delivering, and managing risk and compliance programs across the organization. The successful candidate will play a central role in identifying and mitigating IT risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC2.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and auditing, with a strong background in IT infrastructure, security, and governance. A bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field is required, along with relevant certifications such as CISA, PECB Sr. Lead Auditor, or PCI-ISA.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Compliance Monitoring and Management: Implementing emerging compliance programs, designing and delivering compliance programs, and evaluating risk frameworks.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Developing and maintaining IT Security risk management programs, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and evaluate IT risks, and documenting identified risks.
  • Audit Planning Execution and Reporting: Designing audit programs and schedules, leading comprehensive audits, documenting findings, and presenting reports to senior management.
  • Technical Leadership: Providing guidance and support to other compliance resources, coaching junior staff on IT audit and compliance practices, and participating in investigations as required.
