Interior Health Authority is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our High Acuity Response Team (H.A.R.T.) in Kamloops, British Columbia.
About the RoleThis permanent, part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic and expanding environment. As a member of our H.A.R.T. team, you will provide mobile critical care for patients in rural areas, collaborating with clinicians to stabilize patients and transport them to higher levels of care when necessary.

It boasts a semi-arid climate with warm summers and mild winters, making it an ideal playground for outdoor enthusiasts year-round. What We OfferWe offer a competitive hourly wage range of $37.89 to $47.31 per hour, effective April 2024. Recognition of previous experience will be considered in determining your starting salary. Additionally, we provide financial moving support for eligible positions, a strong employee benefit package, defined pension plan, mentorship opportunities, education leave, and development resources for leadership skills.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a diploma or degree in Respiratory Therapy and registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of British Columbia. Previous experience in critical care and/or emergency medicine would be an asset.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is between $78,000 and $98,000, depending on your qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and disability insurance, as well as a pension plan.
