Job Overview

The Contracting Officer for Engineered Equipment will be responsible for the management of engineered equipment and systems during the lifetime of projects. This role requires strong contracting skills to manage the entire bid process, proposal analysis, and the formation of the subcontract.

The successful candidate will have experience in materials management, expediting, quality surveillance, and logistics, as well as experience coordinating and administering medium to large packages with a medium complexity.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the bid process, including prequalification and selection of bidders, preparation and issuance of Request for Proposal documents, and maintenance of the bid process integrity.
  • Conducts bid opening ceremonies, manages bid clarification meetings, and coordinates technical evaluations and commercial evaluations.
  • Reviews subcontract terms and conditions, considers and recommends special terms and conditions, and meets scheduled turning points from the RFP through Award.
