Nurse Practitioner

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Interior Health Authority, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your expertise will be utilized to perform assessments, plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
• Operate within the scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement patient care plans
This is a permanent part-time opportunity with a 0.74 FTE. Shifts will be scheduled days and evenings, rotating from 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00 hours.
About this location/unit:
Cottonwoods Care Centre is a 213-bed facility that provides a range of services to patients. The Aberdeen Unit has 60 Short Stay beds, while the Bridgeway Unit is designed for special populations. The Cadder Court and Driftwood Units have 42 beds each, and the Ethel Glen Unit is a secured dementia unit with 42 beds.
