Job Title: Detailer

We are seeking a skilled Detailer to join our team at Reale Born Inc. as a key member of our engineering department.

Job Summary

The Detailer will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, and supervising other drafting personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering design and drafting, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy
  • Supervise and train other drafting personnel to ensure high-quality work
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and specifications
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Prepare contracts and tenders for clients
  • Write technical reports and specifications
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in engineering design and drafting
  • Strong background in CAD software, including AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
