Chinook Rafting is a leading provider of outdoor adventure experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced river guide to join our team.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, guides can earn bonuses based on performance and customer satisfaction.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented and enthusiastic river guide to lead groups on exciting whitewater rafting trips. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of customers
- Providing exceptional customer service and creating an enjoyable experience
- Maintaining and operating watercraft and equipment
- Assisting with trip planning and logistics
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and handling heavy loads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Physical stamina to participate in physically demanding activities
