About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and managing the Human Resources function and team. This includes supervising, planning, organizing, and implementing HR programs, as well as providing instruction, guidance, and leadership to Supervisors.

Your Responsibilities
  • Implement policies and procedures for the company, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial law.
  • Provide professional and confidential assistance to other functional groups on human resource related issues.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and enforce diversity initiatives and a harassment-free workplace.
  • Manage the health and safety training, ensuring the company meets its legal requirements.
  • Run payroll using Ceridian Dayforce to ensure accuracy of records.
  • Recruit, interview, and assist in evaluating candidates, collaborating with hiring managers for filling vacant positions.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining effective policies and procedures for the division, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary education in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
  • Completion or working towards HRPA/CPHR designation.
  • Minimum 4 years of leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and promote a team approach to problem-solving.
