Job Summary

At Cherubini, we are seeking a highly skilled Truck Transport Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various makes and models of commercial vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Diagnose and repair complex issues on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  3. Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend repairs.
  4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet tight deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and repair techniques to provide expert service to customers.
  6. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  7. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide timely updates on repair status.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a heavy-duty mechanic.
  2. Valid driver's license and ability to operate a forklift.
  3. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy-duty power trains.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  6. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
