Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team at Mehtoj Group Ltd. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over long distances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from the trailer, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Operate and Drive: Operate and drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Logistics and Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Documentation and Security: Maintain accurate records, including a driver logbook, and undergo regular security checks, including a valid passport, driver's license check, and driving record check.
  • Transportation and Travel: Be willing to travel cross-border, for extended periods, and overnight.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Possess attention to detail, ability to handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
