At WIMPY'S DINER, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Prepare and serve specialty food to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit, or debit cards
  • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations
  • Balance cash and record sales accurately
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Greet patrons, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff
  • Assist guests with special needs, such as dietary restrictions or mobility issues

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
