Job Summary

TQ Insulators Ltd. is seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the thermal performance of buildings by installing and maintaining insulation materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Select and apply the appropriate type of insulation material
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, and taping
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
Requirements
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual labour
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use hand and power tools
  • 5 years or more of experience in insulation installation
