We are seeking an experienced Environment Artist to join our team at DIGITAL EXTREMES Ltd. in the development of the Warframe universe.
About This PositionThis role is responsible for delivering high-quality 3D models and textures, as well as contributing innovative ideas toward the game's visual identity and development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern DCC apps, such as Max, Maya, Blender, and Painter, and be able to optimize models for efficient game production.
Responsibilities- Utilize traditional art skills and knowledge of the latest DCC applications to build high-quality 3D models.
- Bring the game's visual design into game-ready art, handling modelling, texturing, and UV mapping with guidance from Lead Artists and Art Directors.
- Contribute innovative and original ideas toward the game's visual identity and development.
- Assess risks in your work and manage its timely delivery.
- Actively participate in the feedback loop, providing feedback within the art team and mentoring when it's your specialization.
- Stay current on the project's scope and maintain an understanding of the art and story of Warframe.
- Effectively prioritize competing short and long-term projects while maintaining your eye for detail.
