Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) role involves delivering high-quality patient-focused care, encompassing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing safe and effective nursing practice in all aspects of patient care
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures related to observations
  • Delivering professional, patient-centered care that prioritizes patient safety and well-being
  • Cultivating a therapeutic relationship and environment within a diverse cultural setting
Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in acute medicine within the last five years
  • Knowledge of COPD, inhaler, and nebulizer therapy
  • Experience working with geriatric patients, preferably within the last two years
  • Core competencies, including current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, sound knowledge of nursing theory, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
