Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Engineer Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work with our Environmental and Safety Teams, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the development of procedures, projects, and initiatives that promote sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Responsibilities- Update and manage environmental procedures and protocols
- Assist in the development of spill response plans and waste management procedures
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and assist in audits
- Manage smaller environmental and safety projects
- Perform safety orientations and training
- Currently pursuing a degree in Biosystems or Civil Engineering with a focus on Environmental Science
- Strong academic record (minimum GPA 3.0, preferred GPA 3.5 or higher)
- Leadership experience in student organizations or extracurricular activities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
