About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to our residents, enhancing their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility support.
- Offer emotional and social support to residents and their families, including palliative care.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of residents.
- Support your colleagues in providing high-quality care.
Requirements
- PSW Program Certificate or Diploma that meets the standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, the National Association of Career Colleges, or the Ontario Community Support Association.
- Passion and commitment to providing quality care.
- Knowledge and experience in care planning systems and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with staff, residents, and families.
