Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing electrical power generation projects from start to finish. As a Project Manager, you will be the key contact for our customers, ensuring that their projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring that best practices are followed in terms of costs, resource efficiency, and risk management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating with them and acting as the key contact for the customer.
  • Manage project finances, overseeing project invoicing status, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgement by the customer.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Project Management, with a focus on electrical power generation, manufacturing, contracting, and distribution.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
  • PMP designation an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules, and vendors/subcontractors.
  • Sound knowledge of both low and medium voltage Switchgear and the market.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, including SAP, MS Project, MS Office applications, and previous experience with Project Management systems.
  • Management experience in project execution, with strong, well-developed communication, influencing, and coaching skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
