Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salads. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food preparation staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, including estimating ingredient and supply requirements, maintaining records of stock and sales, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Establish and maintain work schedules, supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote cultural competency and awareness.
- Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, veterans, and newcomers, and provide mentorship and coaching opportunities to support their integration into the workforce.
- Ensure that all employees receive awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or related industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and customers.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
