As a CNC Machinist at Universal Machining & Engineering Ltd, you will be responsible for setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture precision parts. Your tasks will include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, maintaining and repairing precision measuring instruments, and documenting and reporting deviations from specifications and tolerances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures

This is a permanent position with a 35-40 hour workweek. English is the primary work language.
