Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Cashier to join our team at Breton Family Foods. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience and maintaining a high level of cash handling accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Authorize payments by cheque and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Establish work schedules and maintain a fast-paced environment
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including office and volunteer staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail or sales environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
