About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Penningtons. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including sales floor management, visual merchandising, and inventory control.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Customer Service: Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Merchandise Management: Work closely with the store manager to plan and execute visual merchandising displays, promotions, and inventory management.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to the store manager, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: At least 1 year of leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
