Engineering CAD Standards Coordinator

As a CAD Standards Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our designs are accurate, efficient, and compliant with industry standards. You'll work closely with our engineering teams to develop and implement CAD standards, best practices, and documentation procedures that support our business goals.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Purchasing component validation, modeling, and entry into the PLM library
- Designing solid models for parts and assemblies
- FOLLOWING ATS guidelines for modeling and naming purchase components
- Establishing standards for local and global parts
- Managing obsolescence of purchase parts
- Establishing, implementing, and controlling standards and best practices with respect to modeling in SolidWorks for use in PLMWorx
Additionally, you'll be responsible for reviewing and interpreting customer drawing specifications, communicating these specifications to our designers, and prioritizing, scheduling, and completing full customer drawing conversions to ATS or customer format for Mechanical Engineering drawing packages as per ISO procedures and work instructions.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of SolidWorks CAD experience, including proficiency in applying GD&T
- Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, best practice modeling techniques, and CAD standards
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
