CNC Machinist

At TechWest Inc., we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture precision parts.
Key Responsibilities:- Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts using advanced mathematical calculations.
- Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
- Repair machine tools and parts to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
- Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to ensure accurate and precise production.
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
- Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture precision parts.
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Repetitive tasks requiring attention to detail and precision.
- Physically demanding work requiring standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight handling required.
- Accurate and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Efficient and quick learner with excellent oral communication skills.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
