**Job Summary**

We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Salmon Arm, BC. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for:

  • Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from healthcare practitioners.
  • Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and authenticity of prescriptions.
  • Performing final checks on prepared prescriptions.
  • Executing all technical functions related to dispensing prescriptions.
  • Supporting and maintaining dispensary and front-store operations.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and adhering to our Always Customer First philosophy.
  • Observing and directing Pharmacy Assistants and Clerks in dispensary activities.
  • Performing other duties as directed by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A Regulated Pharmacy Technician license and good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
  • Pharmacy dispensary experience or Kroll computer experience would be an asset.
