Job Title: Assistant Construction Superintendent

The Assistant Construction Superintendent plays a vital role in supporting the Superintendent in managing all field and site-specific construction activities, ensuring project outcomes are delivered successfully and in compliance with all contracts and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Superintendent in providing leadership and direction for all project activities and tasks.
  • Identify and generate requests for information to support project delivery.
  • Plan, organize, and manage all site construction manpower and materials, including site layout and setup.
  • Assist the Superintendent with completion of required documentation, including superintendent's daily log, safety documentation, timesheets, invoices, labour quantities, packing slips, purchase orders, and site photos.
Qualifications:
  • Journeyman trade certification with Red Seal and/or Technical diploma.
  • Gold Seal is considered an asset.
  • 2-3 years experience in ICI construction.
  • CET certification or equivalent is an asset.
  • Leadership training and safety certificates are recommended.
  • Five or more years of commercial construction experience.
  • Good time-management skills.
