At Capital One Canada, we're committed to helping our customers take control of their credit. As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in developing strategies to test and scale new financial product offerings. You'll conduct market and customer research, and couple these insights with internal data modeling to propose new solutions for our customers.

You'll be embedded within a cross-functional team, where you'll have the autonomy to gather and analyze data, build complex business cases with innovative recommendations, and collaborate with various business partners to execute delivery. You'll also have the opportunity to learn from other job families like data scientists, process managers, and product owners.

Working in an agile, cross-functional team, you'll have access to various coding and visualization tools, including SQL to query data, spreadsheets, and Python-based notebooks to organize it, along with other modern analytics tools, such as Tableau and Quicksight.

Some examples of the many ways you will be helping people take control of their credit include:

  • Product Strategy: Develop strategies to test and scale new financial product offerings.
  • Credit Strategy: Develop and maintain valuation models and the associated credit policies that help us determine who we extend credit to.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop A/B test plans to improve marketing efficiency across multiple channels.
  • Fraud Strategy: Develop defenses and policies to mitigate fraud losses for Capital One.
  • Mobile Strategy: Develop initiatives to help drive mobile adoption and usage.
